The Review: Comedy. Stranded on Earth, a hyperkinetic Martian (Christopher Lloyd, in a broadly played role reminiscent of his part in Back to the Future and his wise-cracking spacesuit become the unwelcome house guests of Jeff Daniels; Elizabeth Hurley and Daryl Hannah are love interests, of a sort. Some excellent special effects; humor from culture shock, linguistic difficulties, and the inevitable physiological differences. Spawned from the 1960's TV series (which had a more interesting, if less flexible, spaceship); for those with long memories, there is at least one amusing cameo role.
