The Review: Romantic comedy with a self-indulgent, reflexive Hollywood overlay. The current actor/actress "couple of the decade" (Cusack, Zeta-Jones) have a catastrophic falling out, and not only is this hidden from their eager public, but their agent (Crystal) enlists the actress's sister (Roberts) for assistance in reconciling the erstwhile couple. But as with many a romance, Robert Burns applies: "the best laid plans of mice and men, gang oft agley." But that which is agley is part of the glee. Good ensemble work. Entertaining, even if the last 15 minutes is a bit over the top.
