The Review: Freaky Friday really rocks! High-energy, consistently funny -- here is a situation comedy that would make Jack Chalker proud: a control-freak professional mother and her rebellious teenage daughter involuntarily swap bodies for a day of role reversal. Reliving one's high school days was never quite this easy. Very entertaining, especially if you harbor secret ambitions in rock music; there's a fantastic backbeat that has you pounding out the percussion on the seat back in front of you (which is hopefully unoccupied).
Silver jubilee remake of the 1976 version (also from Disney), which starred Barbara Harris, a young Jodie Foster, and John Astin in the three (proto-) family roles.
