The Review: Live action short feature from Iceland.

A stoic farmer, spending his last week on a isolated and poorly yielding farm, holds some secrets from his rare visitors. A bit of a downer, but gorgeous scenery filmed in Dyrafjordur, a remote and barren corner of the northwest Icelandic coast. It becomes very clear why Jared Diamond used Iceland as one of the examples in his book on ecological catastrophes, Collapse.

One of the 2005 Academy Award nominees for live action short feature; others included Our Time is Up, Cashback, Ausreisser, and Six Shooter.
