The Review: A not-very-romantic definitely-not-much-comedy.

The mother (Keaton) of a trio of daughters (Moore, Graham, Perabo) seems hell-bent on interfering in their lives and is scheming to get one of them married off, but her plans go typically awry.

After the first 10 minutes of overdone Mom-ism, you say "all right already, I get the point"; after the next 10 minutes, you want to strangle Diane Keaton's character to stop the blather. As time moves on (glacially), you cringe each time she opens her mouth. This is not a good thing. And after the umpteenth cell phone call to share intimate moments, you have this ardent desire to be on a desert island far far away from any cell phone coverage.

It's not a total loss; there are some deliciously funny moments -- many of them already captured in the trailers, albeit (thankfully) not all -- but they are moments only.
