The Review: A fast-paced political action thriller that leaves you breathless and with almost no time to worry about inconsistencies or credible disbelief.

Salamanca, Spain; today -- a meeting of international leaders to draw the line and establish a stand against terrorists -- and the US president attending (Hurt) is assassinated. On point is a Secret Service agent back for the first time after taking a bullet (Quaid), and he's a bit shaky. The story resets and unfolds from six different Vantage Points, as the mysteries and plots behind this act are slowly revealed. Curious construction -- each viewpoint is charged with a different emotional element, a different focal character, and different nuances revealed. Eventually the threads merge together.

When the credits rolled, I thought, amused, that we had the good, the bad and the ugly -- but I'll let the mapping fall to you after you see the film.
