The Review: On the screen together again (a long hiatus since 1997's Kiss the Girls), Judd and Freeman are lawyers who form a rocky alliance to fight the wrongful accusation of a U.S. Marine as assassin of civilians in a Central American conflict from the late 80's -- she because it's her husband being accused, and he because of his military experience: the "wild card." And to repeat an oft-used phrase, things are not as they seem. The (minor) differences between military and civilian justice systems keep the lawyers on their toes, and the revelations along the way keep the audience there as well. Quite a number of twists and turns in the plot, and just when you think it's over and done... (of course), it's not.
Very good character development; it's always a joy to watch Freeman on the screen, and this is no exception. Entertaining.
