The Review: Maybe it was to increase the box office take, or merely to eliminate the need to do any serious editing, but Kill Bill actually took two full-length features to wrap up the story of "the bride done wrong" -- preceded by "the bride gone wrong" (told only in flashback, mostly in volume 1) and following as "the bride gets revenge" (the major theme of volume 2).
It's always fun to watch Uma Thurman, and this is no exception. And finally, this time, we actually get to see Bill (Carradine). But volume 2 was neither quite as good nor as distinctive as volume 1, even though the body count is substantially lower and the gore level almost nonexistent. Moderately well-plotted, but just occasionally you might ask, is this a remake of the Book of Job?
