The Review: A bit of a romantic comedy -- more comedy than romance -- about a process server. Sounds dull, huh? But it turns out to be surprisingly pleasant.

Serving subpoenas and court documents is a dirty, sneaky job, but someone has to do it. We meet Perry as he is serving a subpoena on a local small-time mobster, exercising his creativity and winning the battle of wits (such as they are) against the crooks' bodyguards. But the crux of the movie spins on his task of serving divorce papers on Sara (Hurley), the trophy wife of a Texas cattle baron. Once she tumbles to what is going on, she offers to turn the tables, tries to convince Perry to forget about her, and instead serve reciprocal divorce papers on her husband before she gets served. Timing is everything.

Additional comic relief is provided by the ongoing antagonism between Perry and his co-worker Pastore.
