The Review: In an unselfish act of supreme personal sacrifice, I made it through the first 30 minutes of this movie, so that you do not have to.
This is dreck. It is uninteresting, inane, idiotic, insipid, infantile, brainless, tasteless and witless. It would gain substantial dignity were I to say it had 3rd grade dialog, but you probably need at least a 5th grade education to understand the continuing patter of uninspired sexual not-so-innuendo. Even the minimal storyline of Something About Mary was more interesting than this. I cannot fathom how someone with the timing and comedic skills of Cameron Diaz got caught up in this bomb.
Oh, you want to know what the general plot is, anyhow? Three attractive young women sharing a flat in San Francisco, none of whom seem destined to form any lasting or deep relationship -- indeed, none of whom seem to possess more than the barest minimal number of reflex neurons -- bounce off the walls, go partying, chase guys, and play-act in a restaurant. But watch out!, one of them might be getting serious.
Don't waste even 30 minutes.
